April 23 RHS Peer To Peer group decided to go to the Tigers game for their April field trip, which seems extreme because Peer To Peer has 60 students, but nothing is impossible, especially here at Roseville. The Tigers game was a fun experience for a lot of the students because more than half of them have never experienced a baseball game in their hometown or even have ever been to Comerica Park. “It was good to see a lot of the kids sticking together, paying for each other and making it overall a beautiful experience and sight to see,” Reba Stanley said. “It wasn’t my first time going to a game because I’ve been with my grandpa before, but it was fun seeing the Tigers win again with my peer partner,” Jade Allard said. “I had the best time with my peer partner Harmony and not just watching the game but doing all the fun activities around the park like the Ferris wheel and Mary go round, and seeing other kids lookout for each other and just make sure everybody had fun rather they had money for all the little things or not was good to see because it’s not something you see every day,” senior Summer Weathers said. Peer To Peer is starting to wrap up for the year, but it’s bringing back the normalcy of students being unified and having fun together whether they have a disability or not. RHS benefits well with this program in the school.
