As the new school year begins, we are joined by many new staff members throughout the building! This year we had about 18 new faces. I will introduce you to three of them today.

Meet Mrs. Reyes- Goitia, our  new Spanish teacher. She teaches both Spanish I and Spanish II. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, she tutors students after school as well.

The next staff member I will introduce you to is Mrs. Thompson, our new counseling clerk. When asked how she feels about being new this year, she answered,” Being one of the new staff this year has been very welcoming and everyone here is really encouraging and supportive.”

The last new staff member I will introduce to you today is Mr. Calley, our restorative facilitator. He is the new football coach for the high school  and coaches his son’s football team. When asked about his favorite thing with working with students, he answered, “My favorite thing about working with students is feeling like I made a positive impact in their lives, or at minimum was someone they could talk to and create a safe space.”
