Getting it done between the whistles

Your panthers’ varsity football team is getting it done on Friday nights. Their record is currently 2-4. Inside their M.A.C. Blue division they are currently 1-2 with a loss to Grosse Point North and Fraser. The next football game will be on Saturday October 18th against Cousino.

The lady Panther’s varsity volleyball team has gotten off to a slow start this season. They are currently 5-13-5. They’re 1-5 in the M.A.C. Gold division winning their home opener against Fitzgerald. Leading the panthers in game two against Warren Woods Tower is senior Alicia Shepherd with 17 kills. The volleyball team’s next game will be on October 14th.

Roseville girls swim is 2-4 in their Gold division. Captions Sarah Williams, Annaliese Johnson, Stephanie Parker have high hopes for the team this year. Their two victories have been over East Detroit and Lakeshore. Their losses are against Marine City, Warren Woods Tower, Centerline and Lakeview.  Their next meet will be on Tuesday October 14th against Cousino, come out and support your girls swim team.

Cross Country is in the M.A.C Blue division improving on their skills everyday by out working their opponents. Eleni Haralampopoulous is running at every meet, her best time is 22:01 alongside Meaghan Allen and Anthony Moss running difficult races and courses. The girls cross country team are currently 13-12. The boys cross country team are currently 15-10.

Boys varsity soccer is 2-14 overall on their season. They are in the M.A.C. Gold division, within the division they’re 0-11. The two victories they have had were against East Detroit and South Lake. They played a tough game on senior night against Warren Woods Tower losing that game, with a final score of 2-1. Their season is unfortunately over for the 2014 season.
