Track brings home first place trophy

On April 21, our school’s track team competed in the Invitationals. They competed against 11 Schools such as: Clawson, East Detroit, Ferndale A, Ferndale B, Fitzgerald, Hazel Park, Madison, Lamphere, Mt. Clemens, South Lake A,and South Lake B.And took home the first place trophy. The boys and girls of our track team performed exceptionally and worked hard to do their best. All the long hours of pushing themselves to the limit really payed off when the boys won first place.
“I am so happy we won and so far, if we keep up the good work, we can win majority of our meets,” junior Brenner Norman said.
Everyone is glad to have been awarded medals and broken time by large amounts. The track team has won two out of three meets so far, and hopes to keep up the good work.
