Friday, Feb. 24, was the final home game for three seniors. Ricky Shackelford, Devin Martin, and Derrick Lawrence will all be missed next season. At the last few seconds, the two teams tied, leaving them with overtime. It was a close game but the three boys left off on a good note, beating Clintondale 55-51.

Altogether the three seniors racked up a total of 14 points for the team. Martin with eight, Lawrence with four, and Shackelford with two. During the game, they added great value by holding strong defense for the team.

All three boys have individually helped the team in many ways this season. The team has learned to become a family. They have all helped each other grow and advance in the sport that they cherish.

“Hardwork pays off,” Lawrence said.
