On Friday, Nov 4, RHS held its annual dodge ball tournament to help support the softball program. The tournament consisted of 16 teams. In order to win the championship, teams had to win six games without losing two games. “Invisiballs”, one of the senior teams persevered; despite losing to the junior team, “Off the Dome”, early in the tournament, and winning a close match against “Fruit Cocktail”, the other senior team, which entered them into the championship game. The championship match was between “Off the Dome” and “Invisiballs”. The first game could’ve gone both ways, but during the second game, “Invisiballs” dominated “Off the Dome”. “Invisiballs” won the tournament with an overall record of five wins and one loss.

“I would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the softball team,” Jeffrey Verkeyn, tournament host and junior varsity softball coach said.
