On Monday September 26th, the boys’ varsity soccer team traveled to Centerline High School for an interleague match. After the final whistle was blown, the Panthers came out ahead with a 2-1 win over Centerline. Both goals were scored by seniors David Underwood and Theodore Halt. The boys played tough all 80 minutes, with crucial stops made on the defensive end by co-captain and senior Joseph Reznich, seniors John Grant, Justin Moore, and junior Austin Lorentzen. In the midfield, great efforts were made by sophomores Nick Craig and Ryan Shiemke, co-captain and junior Noah Daudlin, junior Kaleb Terry, and seniors Underwood, Jacob Rolder, and co-captain Halt. Also in goal was junior Josh Brzezinski, who made multiple saves that helped get them the win. The Panthers improved their record to 4 wins, 7 losses, and 2 ties. They are back in action at Marysville High School on September 28th at 6p.m.

“I felt like it was a team effort, no one person truly stood out through the duration of the game, and we came together as a team to get the win,” junior Daudlin said.
